Samsung SGH F480i issue.

Hey all,

I'm feeling like a complete moron today. I just went and bought a Samsung SGH F480i phone, and upon setting up I realised I couldn't get the battery cover off. After an hour of trying, I still can't get it off, does anyone have this phone and can recommend a method?

Place one thumb one the black part (back of phone) where the little arrow points downwards, and the other thumb on the second section of silver (The section further away from the camera lens)

Now push downwards with both thumbs and it should slide off, however it does take a bit of force.

I have an F480 and I hate it. Can't even change the bloody background so I have to unlock it in my pocket unless I want everyone to see I have pretty little sunflowers as my screensaver. The touch screens shithouse as well.

LOL! I agree, average phone, I've upgraded to the Nokia E71, does anyone know anything about the HTC Legend? Looks like a nice phone and I'm keen, although my contract doesn't run out until next April

Lol, changing the background is easy. Go to your files, open up the image you want and touch "set as" and then "wallpaper". Too easy. Did you really think any phone these days wouldn't have the ability to let you change something as simple as the background?

I have one and don't think it's too bad of a phone. Is a little annoying having to turn on the dictionary/auto complete thing every time you send a message, but other than that it's ok. That being said, I think I will go back to Nokia once my contract runs out, reckon their OS is a little bit more user friendly.

Thats the wallpaper mate, not the screensaver for example when you press that main middle button the gay flower or desert comes up.
