C'est Magnifique!

One of my favourite players, its amazing that he can kick so many goals without having any remarkable abilities other than intelligence and football awareness. He is not tall, he is not fast, he is not strong, not that tough, and about average endurance. He is just an incredibly natural footballer and inspiration for others who aren't born with extreme physical capabilities.

Only downside is he beat Jack's 10 at the G

He's pretty fast, has great endurance and strong overhead. It's pretty hard to measure marking strength so I will give you that but how do you think he keeps getting away from opponents if he not that fast and has average endurance?

I remember when this guy first started playing, i happened to see a fair bit of him by chance.. Right from the start he looked so damn classy, i thought wow this guy could be the best player in the competition one day.. He went through a stage of injuries for a while (yes i've followed his progress ) and i wondered if he was going to be that player that couldn't get out on the park.. I knew when he did he would show what he has..

Great year last year along with porplyzia for our lot (they both deserved AA selection and how leon davis got it ahead of them, well ), unfortunately for porps he got a terrible pelvic injury in pre season which has ruined his year..

Again great this year, he was tearing us up last week with 4 early goals until johncock moved onto him and quietened him down..

But wow, 12 goals when you think how many that is.. Amazing..

Seen the highlights tonight and looked just awesome, what a player..

I saw my first Eagles game in Victoria today, and I'll never forget it. Couldn't have picked a better weekend to travel to Melbourne. Was amongst 81,000 at the MCG, and then saw Lecras bag 12 goals. From his banana in the 2nd, I was standing up and waving my scarf every goal from then. Wasn't making too many friends from the bombers crowd mind you

Were over 4 games pretty much with the other 6 spent in the backline. Sumich didnt want LeCras in the forward line because he wanted the two vacant roles at the time to be filled by Mitch Morton playing the HFF role and Sampi deep in the forward line and no one would tell him otherwise
