Check you TV programs. That is the program on your digital TV not your online guides which have been wrong since the NAB Cup started.

Actually, at the moment they can't, due to government regulations. I believe from 2014 the AFL can be shown on the additional digital channels without requirement to be shown on the main broadcast channel.

1st they play the preview by Bruce and Harley and the 1st 2 minutes with no sound, stop the tape and replay the lot with sound.

Then with 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter just after a goal to us that put us up by 12/15 points, the coverage skips to Bruce & Harley discussing the blockbuster next week for the NAB Cup GF.

Hahahahaa. Amateur hour. Just as well I didn't give a shit about the result as I new we'd won when the game, even with it still in the balance and 10 minutes to go.

Don't forget the bit where the cut to an ad in the middle of play and then when they go back to the footy we see a ball up and talk of a WCE goal...

Props: 9pm start in QLD (instead of the usual 11.30pm/midnight), going back to the start with sound

Slops: No sound start, cutting out bits of play and giving away the result before the end.

I was down in Byron Bay over the weekend, and the 7mate Lismore coverage was hilarious. Surely there were 2 options. The guy in charge was either:
1) On his first day, or;
2) Shitfaced.
There were atleast 10 frozen black screen moments of between 1 and 5 minutes each. And 4 or 5 times as someone from either side was going in to kick a goal, they would cut to a break as it was happening, before coming back to a black screen. Then they would come back to the goal we had just missed. Followed by more ads, and more black screen.
Brisbane shows it in the wee hours, but atleast they don't screw it up.

Melbourne 20:30 (60 min delay)
Adelaide 20:00 (90 min delay)

Perth 17:30 (4 hr delay)

Sydney 20:30 (5.5 hr delay)

Yeah they've basically listed all the times in different cities for when it's going to be showing in Melbourne. Those delays are a joke though.

Rubbish channel, loved it Grand Final Replay day tho, they started the new channel for males, yet if you were male and watching that channel that day you lost all right to call yourself male

It's Wide Bay QLD. But don't look at the online or printed TV guide as they have been wrong all through the NAB Cup.

I've looked though the guide on the TV along with online and as far as I see it's still just on at 1am.
Can't freaking believe this...they want the game to grow up here don't they?
If anyone in the Brisbane area hears of anything different please post.

I've done the same and no matter where I look its still the same 6 and 1/2 hour delay. Checked it out on the internet, tv guide on the tv, etc. Doesn't matter, still has Ch7 screwing us over.

I guess they're showing some fantastic tv though....

The AFL said in a statement in the Herald Sun that they have instructed Channel 7 that tonights game can be shown live, but that the final decision is totally up to Channel 7.

Surely the AFL have to put a clause in the next TV rights, where if they want a game shown live (or if one is soldout), then the TV network has to show that game live.

We are living in the past, ask the Yanks or Poms what "delayed sport" on TV is, and they'll probably say a game that starts late for weather reasons.
