'No Data Received' on BigFooty

Hi,

I have an ongoing problem only when viewing BigFooty. Quite regularly I am hit with the message 'No Data Received' when moving between boards, threads and pages. This would probably happen 1/5 times, so pretty regularly. It comes up as soon as I click on whatever I want to view, and then takes about 5 refreshes to finally bring the page up. I am using Google Chrome. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I change browsers?

Any help is appreciated.

I haven't got that message. However I a few days ago, IE wasn't loading pages here at bigfooty ((loaded just blank white pages), so I swapped to Firefox and all has been good since, might be worth a try.

Edit:
It took many refreshes for me too, or often quit the browser and open the thread again that I copied before i quit, to fix it, as by the time I navigated my way to whre I wanted, the problem came back.

I tried deleting the cookies and still the same problem.

I am on:

Microsoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3.

I think I seem to remember this not being a problem until about 3 or so months ago, but I could be wrong.

I think a switch in browsers would do the trick, but I do like Chrome a lot so I think I can just put up with this. I'm finding difficulty downloading another browser for whatever reason so I think I'll try and resolve this.

I get the same problem on Windows 7. I didn't know how to fix it, so I brow bigfooty only in firefox which seems to have done the job. I'd love it if anyone knows a fix.

Goddamn, this is now happening almost every time I try to post something. It's getting to the point I'm seriously not opening BF when I launch Chrome anymore because it pisses me off so much.

BigFooty works in Chrome fine for me on my computer, but not on my lappy, have to use Firefox to properly use BigFooty, it's weird

I've had no problem with Ubuntu 10.04 or 11.04 at home, both using Firefox. I also use a Windows XP SP3 with Firefox without a problem in a corporate environment.

I have this exact problem. Also using Chrome and Windows 7, so guessing this is the problem

Use Windows 7 and Chrome on about 18 different PC's and have never had this issue.

Get this issue occasionally too - doesn't matter which browser I'm using (usually Chrome, occasionally Firefox, rarely IE).

both home and at work.
internet is fine on both; just an issue w/ bigfooty.
