Wifi-speaker interference

Have recently set up a network and my speakers are barely audible especially for web based sites (eg YouTube)

Moved router away from pc- no change.

Seperated router and speakers to different power boards- no change.

Do I need one of those black clips that go over the speaker cables or do I just need a new set of better type PC speakers??

plug in a pair of headphones and see if they are loud.

check the system volume

etc before you buy new speakers.

Did they work before? As said above, check system volume and all that first.

Yes worked perfectly for past 2 years.

When I use headphones on the audio jack for a YouTube song no problems...pull them out and revert back to speakers the interference occurs again.

I have this problem, but with my cordless phone rather than speakers. Would be interested if there's a solution.

Resolution- moved router to another room, bought a compatiable USB adapter for desktop...no feedback, YouTube plays loud and clear and Mrs G happy with phone cable up off the floor for good.

change your wifi routers channel see if that works.
