Agree with a lot of what you write, PVF. But Snappy makes the best point. A player walking out (or threatening to do so) because they didn't have a share in the captaincy is a little embarrassing. If you think you are a leader you certainly aren't showing it by threatening to walk out. I have been distracted by the prelim, but I think it was MD that walked out? Not his finest moment, despite making some sound points about the process.

Agree the process was a shambles with threads popping up everywhere with self-appointed captains, but I don't think Boncer had even thought about it given the finals had only just started! Some of us were still playing! Alls well that ends well I suppose.

The majority of people have misinterpreted the point of my thread. The captaincy issue was a minimal reason behind the point I was trying to make.

It's all blown over now regardless, concerned parties have shaken hands and got back to business.
