I've come to this conclusion.

The ACC suspects Steve Danks of something, but the lengthy investigation indicates there hasn't been much to find.

Perhaps going public, they hoped to flush out something as a result of panic and/or strange behaviour.

If this doesn't work, I expect this to be over and done with soon enough.

Lol I'm loving how Essendon people are clinging on to this as their great white hope - that the drugs were for their coaches :D

You blokes are so screwed and you can't even see it. You don't even have even the slightest inkling that something's wrong :D

Dude, I know for a FACT that none of the players have an issue with ASADA. So I'm not sure what the investigation is about. The only things I can guess are either that Dank does have shady connections and/or what Dank said about coaches using supplements that are considered performance enhancing.

You can dream all you want dude, but we'll be fine. Whether either one of those scenarios will bring any sanction to the club is another thing, and honestly if Essendon sanctions the individuals themselves then that may well be the end of it.

Obviously something is very wrong....but I doubt they'll be able to prove anything substantial at all. Unless this whole sending blood samples overseas yields something extraordinary this whole saga will die off sooner rather than later.

I don't like Essendon but gee for some opposition fans to be dancing around and wanting to see 30 some odd players go down and potentially ruin some great careers is a bit scary.

Shouldn't most footy fans want to believe that nothing sinister was provided to these guys?

Nah, they have too much power, they dont fish. Have worked with them on different jobs. Not always on the ball, but who is?

Jarrad Waite said in an interview that players (Carlton) have taken supplements they bought online and that everyone has to take it to the club Dr who then checks it off that what's in it is OK with the guidelines.

That's the Carlton procedure, I'd assume most clubs would have their Dr perform a similar role.

Its a reasonable system, but it still relies on players doing the correct thing.

To me the best system would be for the club to source and check anything the players need.

It would be particularly tough on Fletch. He's just about to come into his prime and missing two years of football in the first two years of his prime decade wont get it off on the right foot. That said, this might make him hungry enough to push on past the 55-11 and play into his 60s. Once again it's just speculation.

Do the other Richmond fans of you and the intelligent comments you make. Also to admit you have a heart and love the game and not just the club. Careful now

Look my personal opinion, and its an opinion only, is that they were all in on it. Not necessarily the players (I'm still undecided on that point) but Dank, Hird, Thompson, Robinson etc certainly were. This crap that nobody knew what Dank was up to, that the coaches were the ones taking the drugs etc etc doesn't fly with me. Maybe I'm cynical but I just don't buy it. I can't.

Should it be found that the players were injected with something sinister, well I'm sorry they, the club, HAS TO cop their right whack and if that includes player sanctions well so be it.

I'm sorry if I'm not overly sympathetic to their plight but it wasn't that long ago Carlton were copping it from all and sundry for salary cap breaches. And rightly so may I add.

Well here is the truth about those off-site injections. My sources (Caro, Phatprick) tell me that it was a laneway and they were sharing rusty needles. So at the parent meeting last night Robson, Evans and Hird didn't actually make a speech they did an all singing and dancing performance of this.

After this presentation they answered all questions in interpetive dance!!
