Had pretty good numbers when he played including 30+ in three of our beltings of opposition clubs.
Zaharakis plays in a way I'd expect would get the umpire's attention.
I suppose Jobe and Stanton were getting all of the votes in the first half of the year.

Umpires aren't likely to give votes to players who commentate themselves during the game.
Far too arrogant. Umpires see it from a mile out.

AA is a farce. The bloke who got second in the brownlow 2 years straight hasn't got an AA jumper ffs, and Fletch has as many AA's as Leon DavisI am more interested in Hurley and Zaka obtaining AA honours - They both have enough ability.
And it will be great to have an Essendon drafted player be AA - Few in the last 20 years if you exclude F/S, Zone Selections and traded in players.

Hird says he'll play, but they're obviously not sold on his fitness, because he'll either start as sub or be subbed off.geez..no Zaka talk since Sep 7th
hope he plays Friday night...UNLEASH!!!

Poor management IMO, and I sure as shit hope we don't lose a guy during the 1st or 2nd as usual and have to keep him out there.
Melksham has still been running 100% unlike Zaka. The bigger issue is the selection of Melksham - Played 2 games in the NAB Cup Series - Was very rusty in game 1.
TRB have picked two under-done players - And it's a no-brainer that if you pick one player its Zaka.

The fact is Melksham will be able to run out a game though - or should be in theory, because he hasn't stopped running.
I've got my doubts Zaha will be able to run out a half. Will be very limited midfield time if he does.
who would you replace Melksham with?
Melksham has never run a game out - Endurance is his number one issue - A quality half from Zaka is enough.
Did a couple of classy things tonight, but some of his chases were very, very disappointing. As a fresh sub, you would expect him to give 110% when chasing, but he wasn't hungry tonight, and that one instance where Dempsey was giving his all and Zaka was just jogging, it made me sick. Hopefully he's better for the run......go Dons!
