Kommers ganna be scoring 50s. If its a bench spot ya filling keep Colquhorn for sure ya never know. Still if its a spot on the field there's plenty of good potential mid rookies next week to pickup.

Karnezis will be a better $$ maker than leuy. I'm not sold on leuy i reckon its just a trend everyone's hyped up on.
Maric's pricey but he'll put out big scores.
See if you can fit Roughy in the Ruck and upgrade a straggler or keep the $$ in the bank for next week just incase you have to upgrade a rookie if it all turns pear shaped and no one worth getting gets named.

You've highlighted the wrong commandment - It should be:

3 - HONOUR THY MATURE-AGED RECRUIT AND RECYCLED PLAYER

He's a mature age recruit, he's been in their plans right through the NAB Cup, and he's played respectably until now. He's 22 years old - Why would they have drafted him NOT to play him?

Varcoe is a known quantity* so Karnezis, he performed better in the NAB cup and seems to have more upside?

I'm thinking about JPK (c) or Ablett (c).
Surely Ablett will fall in value, especially as he is supposed to spend more time forward and on the bench this year.
Will this cover the loss from potential difference in captain value?

at their price i don't reckon you can go wrong with any of them,

am warming to Jack Steven tho - the saints will need possession and a lot of it (as they don't have a dominant key fwd anymore) Stevens NAB form was outstanding (as was Rich) - reckon in that choice its see how it benefits your bye structure and go from there

I'd go Maric (not being biased). Will be just as good if not better this year, good contested mark, gets a lot of possessions around the ground and is a good tap ruckman who gets a lot of hitouts. I think Jacobs is a bit one dimensional and there are question marks with Goldy.

Beams or JPK? Haven't heard much love for Beams on here lately but he was scoring massive last year and could be a great POD.

Beams is definitely a solid player, not sure on his pres-season. Haven't really heard much about a lot of players at Collingwood. I'm just assuming the premiums have been going well as would have heard otherwise in the news(may not be the best idea.).

Maric is fully priced but should maintain his high average as he will ruck solo again. Jacobs could improve a little more as he is still young. Goldstein has 10-15 points of improvement in him with the slight risk of Currie stealing his number one spot. Id say find the cash and get Jacobs, but if you are short on cash settle for goldstein. No value in Maric.
