Three Quarter Time...

Adam Selwood - 18 disposals, 2 marks, 5 tackles, 2.0
Scott Lycett - 13 disposals, 5 marks, 10 HOs, 0.1
Cale Morton - 13 disposals, 3 marks, 3 tackles, 4 I50s
Blayne Wilson - 12 disposals, 3 I50s
Jamie Cripps - 11 disposals, 5 marks, 3 I50s, 3.2

All of the boys have been pretty impressive today. Morton has shown good skills and played a part in many of East Perth's goals. Cripps has been tough and kicked 3 good goals. Lycett has shown good agility around the ground and has had his moments in the ruck. Wilson continues to be a very solid player down back. Selwood has slowed down since copping a few hits in the first half but remains an influential player.

Good to see the host club arrangement hasn't benefited East Perth at all....

It's only just getting started as well. Imagine when all WCE reserves are at East Perth. They'll win the next 3 premierships. If we had our own team it wouldn't be like this - but this is what the WAFL presidents wanted.

It's a bit outlandish to attribute their good form to the inclusion of Cripps, Morton, Lycett, Wilson and Selwood.

Besides, Claremont benefited from having a raft of AFL players for years.

Wow what happened to Claremont's dominance? Did McGinnity play? PAdman?

Yes and no.

They started the year very slowly and improved even when they lost all their WC players. They've improved again with their return.

Those AFL players at Claremont are usually from Claremont.

Full Time...

Adam Selwood - 23 disposals, 2 marks, 5 tackles, 2.0 [Dreamteam: 104]
Scott Lycett - 18 disposals, 7 marks, 16 HOs, 1.3 [Dreamteam: 103]
Cale Morton - 16 disposals, 5 marks, 4 tackles, 4 I50s [Dreamteam: 76]
Blayne Wilson - 16 disposals, 3 I50s [Dreamteam: 47]
Jamie Cripps - 14 disposals, 5 marks, 2 tackles, 4 I50s, 3.3 [Dreamteam: 85]

Ryan Neates easily the best player for Claremont too.

Paul johnston is a god , another great game.
Scotty Lycett is a little champ he has such presence, he going to be very good.
Reminds me of Coxy when he won a simpson medal in a gf for east perth, he seems to be heading
on a similar trajectory for his career.

Home grown though for the most part. They've rarely had players aligned to them who didn't come through their juniors and still on an AFL list.

Their success may not have all come from those 4, but considering Cripps (8) and Lycett (5) have been on fire this finals series it's a major boost for them. Add to is Selwood who plays a role, Morton as well and Wilson who's done well down back and it's a good leg up. West Perth has one AFL listed player (Hutchings) who came through the club, and as a kick in the teeth will be playing for East Perth next year.

The WAFL presidents were not asked about this actual takeover. It was done behind most of their backs. Eagles into their first ever WAFL grand final. I hope you 50k members get behind your eagles next week and turn up. Bet you don't though.
Cmon West Perth be fitting that our oldest and greatest club in WA football history won the last ever real WAFL premiership.

Hutchings is from East Perth and a filthy traitor.

I was waiting for this. Obviously haven't been watching any of EP games this year. Johnson, Lee, Wulff, Cadwalleder and Smith set up the second half of the year and the wins for us.

You also have a rampant ducker as well.
