Lets see. Unlike your idiotic run and gun style that cost you countless games last year when teams tore you to shreds on the counter, we spent time, holding possession building our attacking thrusts.

It's well known that Essendon were able to generate a lot of inside 50s last year without converting into scores. Unlike your sooky sooky la la coach, our panel recognised the issue and appears to have put in fixes to correct how we attack.

The end result is we strangled the life out of a clearly over rated opponent and made them look inept.

Not getting to 100 point is completely on Essendon, not winning by a greater margin is again, completely on Essendon. North had no impact on either, so there should have been no solace in losing by 39 points instead of 139 points.

Ok no worries. Lets look at the last completed season then, where your side persisted in getting bitched up week after week. But oooohhhhh they were close losses, the form was there and they'll be up and about next year.

First chance you got against a decent side (and not the best side going around) and you were strangled. Strangled because you're first and foremost a very average side, and second, because your coach is incapable of reacting to adversity in game.
