Will keep that in mind. At the moment it's a case of players get their first preference, if that's taken 2nd etc...though ultimately, that will be a leadership group decision.
Am in PM with Admin at the moment as the option to add a poll isn't there (for the peeps to vote for the leadership group, I believe in players selecting) even though it should be. If anyone doesn't want to be an option for this, PM me and I'll make sure your name isn't on the list. I'll probably get the poll happening in a couple of days - or will open a team PM for votes to be decided if Admin don't get off their arse and fix the problem.

Late yesterday evening, the POWERs that be (aka sir okeydoke7 ) slammed down his iron fist in true dictatorial style and took away our democratic right to elect our own captain by announcing the players that would lead their State (and Allies, Vic Metro, Vic country...hmmm, hardly seems like a state of origin at all really) in this SoO series,

I know you're half-joking but SoO clubs don't decide their own captains. Every year clubs try and do it though. Admin has always selected SoO captains. I selected from the people that nominated themselves, which was open all week.
I know that SA is a little different. Trying to use their "community" "tight-knit" attitude to be all democratic and stuff. But democracy rarely works with a bunch of unintelligent hacks with a suburb for a city.
Now get your ass back to Hindley St (it's a Saturday morning, after all). Get back into the DOg and Duck or Red Square or The Woolshed or some shit excuse for a venue. Perhaps even walk over to the casino (a glorified pokies venue).
