Port are in some sort of slump.
I'm finding it really funny that North could have put themselves in a great position to be top 4! Each time a team above them loses is like another dagger in the heart :P

I don't understand why Cassisi is retiring mid season. I mean, wouldn't they still be considering themselves chance for a flag?

I look forward to Roos complaining about the umpiring in his press conference. Again.
At least this time it'll be justified, and not another cockamamie excuse because one free was awarded to Stewart Crameri late in the game, having no bearing on the result given the eventual margin of 16.

I don't like Roos, at all. I don't like him as a person or as a coach. But at least he'll be a 'truther' this week, not a whinger.

Carlton hiring Steven Trigg of all people as their CEO is one of the worst appointments in recent history. With the Blues' history with the same legal breaches that Trigg has been convicted of and punished for, it isn't a good look in the slightest.

Not that I care at all what happens to the Blues to be perfectly honest, just a baffling choice. Fans already angry.

I'm stoked they've appointed Trigg. They had it in them to right the ship before this appointment, but not anymore.

The irony of it being Trigg that they appoint is just delicious, as you said.

Happy days. One less side we have to worry about in the years to come.

Adelaide fans are absolutely stoked judging from the reactions on their board :p

They've been wanting him out for a while now. The man has done very little for that football club and I can't see that changing at the Blues.

It's obvious Trigg brings nothing to the table, his somewhat shady legal dealings, and overall ineptness to appease himself to people is exactly why he shouldn't be at a football club. It's also why he fits in so well at Carlton.

So apparently Carlton have been sniffing around Tom Mitchell and Mitchell is on over 400k+ per year..
How the friggity frack is he on 400k+ per year. He's got the scope to be one of the best midfielders in the competition in time, but damn that's a big number.

I was under the impression there was some bad blood between the Mitchells and Carlton, but that's just off the top of my head.

It's bloody freezing here. You'd have to be brave to go and watch.
You're a brave man. How does the ground look?

*Note that any response indicating that you aren't at the ground will be met with a chorus of boos
