The whole Gold coast suns squad at the MCG watching the Geelong/Hawthorn game..
Watching and learning!!!
Setting themselfs up for a big 2015
I hope bluey McKenna is there learning a thing or 2 aswell!!
He's only watching 14 players for each team. that all you need to be a finals force don't forget.

You have a major agenda against Bluey McKenna. It's cool that you want the convenient excuse for comfort as to why your team is losing, but I don't think that should be it.

Not really..
Just meant look and see how different coaches use what players where and how and set plays for clearances.. Forward entry's n out of defence etc.
Im in believe we're losing because injury list.. Which shows our lack of depth.

Jack martin... Freezing..
G Ablett.. 6 degrees.. No worries in the T shirt..

The prick has ice baths like I have hot showers. I don't think he lets the Melbourne weather bother him :p

All these late season soft tissue injuries
Do we need to manage the boys a bit better..??
Dixon only just came back.. Re-injured the same injury.. Mckenzie too... Whose giving these guys the green light..
Wont be long before some1 does something more serious and miss 6-12 months

Good season, if we can finish with an even ratio of 11/11 I would of taken that at the start of the season!

Good?
Really?
Last year with minimal expectations we finished 14th with 8 wins...I was actually happier with that
This year the odds are we'll win 10 and finish 12th
Notwithstanding all the injuries that every club has to deal with and the position we were in 8 weeks ago it either shows we were overly dependent on Gaz so should have been weaning ourselves off that dependency earlier or we haven't progressed as perhaps we should have
I'm okay with the season...just not rapt
If we're not entrenched in the 8 come start of August 2015 serious questions will be asked

Question you need to ask yourself is... What did you think we would be doing at the start of the year? I thought 10 wins would be a good year, and anything more would be a bonus.

Would it have been nice to play finals? Of course it would have, but in the overall scheme of things wouldn't of mattered a great deal we get there and Port wallop us by 50 points, perhaps more. An even ledger of 11/11 would be great and show progress.

However, I do agree, if we aren't in finals calculations next year, serious questions do need to be asked.

Listen to what McKenna said and put it into context. Out of the 18 on field one on ones, if 14-15 go in our favour and a Suns player beats his man you can win the game, why is that so hard to grasp?

Who do you think will miss the 8?

Freo
Hawks
Syd
Geelong
Port

All certainties

Adelaide has killer forward line, best tall defender and ruckman in the game and a capable midfield.

North will continue to improve with ziebell, cunnington, bastinac entering their prime, swallow to play whole season.

Richmond have shown in the second half of the year what they can do. Have won last 8 on the trot.

Then there's essendon, west coast, collingwood who won't be pushovers either.

Even if we significantly improve it won't be easy to make it. I'd be happy to push into the bottom half of the eight.

Ok sure. I still think there are 12 teams maybe excluding Melbourne st Kilda lions wb gws Carlton that have genuine belief that they SHOULD be in the finals and probably have a good reason to think that. One or two of those bottom teams could surprise people and make that leap earlier than expected aswell.

Don't get me wrong I expect us to improve considerably again next year. I just think it will be very tough competition for top 8 spots.

What would you're prospective top 8 look like?

Ill say

Hawthorn
Sydney
Port
Geelong
Freo

Adelaide
Gold Coast
North

West coast
Collingwood
Richmond
Essendon

Bulldogs
Gws
Carlton
Brisbane
Melbourne
St Kilda

Fire up your microwaves!

It is all set up for them to tumble in the final week

Rich v Syd
Crows v Saints
Eagles v Suns

If either the Eagles or Crows win then Richmond finishes 9th on percentage, Beautiful

If you want Ninthmond to do what they do best, all you have to do is let us have a win, say 5 goals would be nice, thanks GC friends:D:D
