Yeah, me neither. Mine just sort of flops all over the tables, desks, chairs and even onto the floor. I swear it's breeding down there!!!
That was when I was working. Now it all goes into a box lol

So she's screaming at him, not laughing? I get it ...
No, silly!!! She's laughing at him because it looks silly on him + better on her! Look again -

Bloody hell! I reckon I'm just no good at analysing pictures. Give me words any day- just plain solid words, untwistable words with no hidden meanings. Preferably two syllables or less....

By the way, NSFB- how long is this "Swift" thing going to last? My avatar is itching to throw its skin off and don a new costume for the 10th of Dec :D

Serious question:$:$:$ How does one get a cork out of a red wine bottle that has been pushed in to the bottle but not right down , so it is still sealed, , while trying to get it out with a small corkscrew?:$ Not a drinker either, but wanted to open the bottle , the person did . Not saying it was me

hahahahaaaa

SquishyKitty would be the expert there. Not sure if she's still here.

Did the cork break up or is it intact?
Do you have a wine decanter?

about 1.5m.

it was on the path to one of the chicken sheds, i think waiting for me to open the door. :p
Have you tried using the snake repellers?

We stuck a series of them around our place last summer- no snakes.
Not sure if that was just coincidence but we didn't bring them in over winter (which we should've) and a few of them died. Late spring- first snake under BBQ next to the kitchen- luckily the cat spotted it.

I've been working on reducing the snake's food, too- keep the rats and mice down and (hopefully) the snakes will move over to visit your neighbour. My neighbour gets heaps of snakes and says that they're all from our place....

some people i have asked about them say they work, others say they are rubbish, i need a scientific paper to read before i make up my mind....maybe i can approach the makers for funding...hmmm...

i saw something disappear under the house the other day, so i turned the hose on the hole it went into to see what popped out thinking it would be a snake or rat or something, and out sprang a baby wabbit. the veggie patch doesnt appreacite it, but i would rather wabbits under the house than snakes or rats.

You can buy a set of 10 for $100- if you have some spare cash lying around- I'm not sure if they are all the same quality but they all look the same to me.
Then YOU try them and send me the report. If you reckon they work and it wasn't just coincidence that we had no snakes last year (don't even recall seeing any/many lizards), then I will replace my broken repellers :D

Oh, and rooie- we went to put ours all around the house and read the instructions (as I tend to do, being female an' all ;)), and I saw that their effectiveness is reduced if the soil is too sandy....
lol- we used them anyway. And you're meant to have certain spacing between each one (30m or so, IIRC) and have them protected from the weather...

If you invite the ickle bunnies to live under your house, you're just inviting the next animal on the food chain to live there, too- "Yummo! Bunny for dinner? My FAVOURITE!!" says Mr Snake :D

How would you like a set of gorgeous little bantam (silkie) roosters, rooie?
i have dozens. too small to roast, thinking of feeding them to the pigs. does that sound horrid? we have about 150 chickens roaming our place at the moment, included a big frizzle boy who is my arch nemesis. i have a few nasty scratches on the back of my legs, which will teach me to wear my boots more often....he is just trying to remind me that gum boots keep out rooster spurs and snake bites.

lol

I never thought of gumboots. Don't usually have a problem in winter when I'm wearing jeans but struggle to avoid them when I've got bare feet or thongs in the summer, with my shorts. Dammit.

One poor rooster copped a huge kick to the chest last week- I'd just been sliced by his bloody brother and the second boy came over to have a sneak attack from the back. I whirled around and kicked him a ripper right in the middle of the chest. He flew through the air about 10m, I reckon. Then he slunk away and hid behind the trees, nursing his wounds for the next 24 hours. I felt REALLY REALLY bad because I was just getting revenge on him because I was too slow to prevent the first attack.

One rooster of mine that would slice your boots open, I'm sure, is young Lucy:

This is my weapon of choice in this instance:
