and one more post ( see what I am doing ?)Why would my laptop play a funny tune if my dongle is skewwhiff, and almost out of its socket ?Because it did . Twice.
 
Ok. Now I am officially embarrassed:$.Wasn't the dongle/usb thingy . Just Microsoft trying to tell me something. So with that, I had better do something good tomorrow to make up for being stupid :(Where is every one?? I can talk to my self all day, but then it looks like I have nothing else to do (post number 978)

I'm here - but am off to make soup. Have just done a pot of pumpkin and am making cream of cauliflower soup for those that prefer that. Hopefully, if there is some left over, my son and daughter can take a couple of serves home. Both are busy with uni stuff at the moment and I bet that neither has a lot of time for cooking an evening meal (my son works full time and is doing a degree part time and my daughter is only a few weeks away from turning in her Masters dissertation, then she has exams).

Can't wait for soup- it's miserable outside at the moment and there's nothing better to warm the cockles of your heart than a lovely warm plate of soup with a crusty bread roll!

My Mum and Dad used to use lines from songs to tell us to do things, like "Put your shoes on, Lucy", "Open the door, Richard", etc. :) despite us not having a Lucy or Richard in the family. I have passed those songs on to my kids, though only know the tune for a line or two. :)

Have to feel for those that live east of Melbourne as there is a power fault between South Yarra and Caulfield, meaning no trains.
