Either way top 3 looks to be excellent this year. All 3 clubs should get a star no matter who they choose.
IMO Wietering Schache and Francis will be top 3.

I would so love to have another pick in the top 4. I hope we make some trades with Saints or Demons. Tucker think stocks will fall due to his carding today but if we get best tall and best mid along with Silvagni and Rice I would be very happy
Also have Sam Day former pick 2 in 2010 draft IIRC.
Keays was BOG for OLD this weekend.
Be intersting would GS bid on Ben Keays with the first pick? Would Brisbane match it with there first?

I don't see Blues, Stk or Suns bidding on Keays. Agree Suns won't get Schache, will be either Blues or Lions IMO
They even have 2 meter Peter. So very unlikely they take another tall forward.
They will want Wietering
Francis being from SA may scare them off him.

I know the Big key forward is tempting. But I really like Jacob Weitering, there is a reason why he is captain of Vic country.
Weitering still has plenty more development left in him and I think he will be able to play forward too.
SOS is a big Weitering fan. He would be the safest pick..basically zero chance of being a bust.
Think Hawks taking the local Jarred Roughead@2 gun junior KPD. Was the safest pick.

So what are you going to offer up for another top 4 pick? You can't just say "trade with Melbourne or St Kilda", there has to be a trade to happen. Carlton's list has nothing that is even close to worth a top 4 pick. Nothing. Don't forget St Kilda and Melbourne are also rebuilding so you probably can't trade one of your experienced players to them which makes it even harder...

Weitering and Collins were very good today .Stopped a lot of SA forward entries. Walked past Weitering after the game, he is a massive man and ready to play AFL now. Read alot about him but seeing him live was a real thrill.

Gibbs, Yarran plus even few young ones I'd be willing put up for trade with picks would make good package. Depends how deep the draft is and if worth it for Saints and Demons

That's what I mean. This kid doesn't even turn 18 till the end of the year. Wietering will be a 10yr-12 gun
KPP of that there is no doubt.
IMO he would be the safest option for the number 1 pick.

i watched Tucker closely today and didn't think he had much impact at all. Provided minimal run from HB and had about the same influence on the game. His clash with Tahana summed up his day, very poor act.

Let's just forget Father-Son implications and who could be drafting where for a moment. If we have to rank this Jack Silvagni kid in context of his draft class, where would people realistically rank him? Top 10? Top 20? Top 30?
Top 50- In my eyes 30-50. He hasn't shown much this year, be it at TAC Cup or APS (school)
