Good ones.

All the recruits seem capable of playing 1's, Devils may surprise a few this year.

At least 6 of those recruits played WRFL div 3 reserves, GDFL is equal to WRFL div 2 so a few of these recruits will struggle.
I've played WRFL div 1 and 2 and GDFL.
Div 3 is disgusting and div reserves is the worst standard you are likely to see

Sorry, but I watched him play many games, so I'm not kidding myself or anyone else. He may be professional, a great bloke, a great trainer etc. etc. etc. But he was definitely no stand out at BFL level, and he would have been at his peak then also, just an average player at best.

well said. He played injured last year and didn't do the pre season

Where has anything said all these recruits will play ones? The club had 15 seniors players across seniors and reserves last year if it wasn't for the under 18s they would of folded, it's been a awesome effort to attract so many players to the club weather or not they will be ones or not

What is the go with young Harrison? I heard he would like to play at nth shore but is under contract at Belmont. My personal opinion is if a kid would like to play at a higher level you would let them have a crack.

David, he did have a quick chat to someone out there, I spoke to him at training last night and he had no intention of playing with North Shore and is looking forward to a big season at the Lions under Tanner.

Correct me if I'm wrong but David have offerd these wrfl players money ?
So they are getting paid per snr game ? Now why would they travel to a club they have no connections with to play twos football and not get paid let's be honest they have come chaseing the coin mate

Corio are paying the top 5 reserve players each week. They aren't paying membership and apparel costs either, and prob getting fuel money.

Good evening, I would just like to begin by apologising for my last post which was removed, I shall not be posting anything similar in the future.

So now that all 12 GDFL sides have a coach, i would like to put forward my predicted ladder, I am most open to discussion and criticism so please, don't be shy.
1st-2nd Inverleigh - waiting in the wings for a couple of years now, great coach, have built up the hunger and desire to take another leap and go all the way in 2016 with its exciting break neck speed play and bountiful youth.

1st-3rd Bell Post Hill - despite a few very important omissions for the upcoming season, I feel 'stoofa' has a great footy brain and the right attitude to ensure the panthers won't be knocked off the perch anytime soon.

2nd-4th North Geelong - a lot of rumours circulating the magpies nest and whether they'll have what it takes to challenge in 2016, despite losing Pitman and possibly a couple of other important players, North will still be finals contenders and with youth and raw talent, they're sure to be a threat come late August-September one again.

2nd-5th Thomson - the tigers have gotten busy recruiting thus far, the trend seems to be 'brotherly love' which has reaped its rewards with the reuniting of the McLeods and an acquisitions of the two Whites from Forrest and West respectively, the tigers were unlucky to miss the 5 last year despite claiming a couple of fine scalps throughout the year.

3rd-5th Bannockburn - a few handy recruits from the GFL and other leagues in addition to the returning of Peter Riccardi, 2016 shapes as an exciting and much anticipated season for the tigers from Bannockburn. Winning 1 final would be hailed as a success last season, if Riccardi can get the group to gel, they're sure to build on this years progress.

5th-6th Belmont - with Grant Tanner taking the reigns at Belmont, it shapes to be an interesting year for the lions. Belmont will look to build on the success McKernan produced in his time their, his untimely departure will hurt the lions season preparations but if the lions young squad stick together as well as persist with their run and gun style of game, they could cause a few shocks come finals.

7th-10th East Geelong - not a great deal of news coming out of East Geelong, but I feel for east fans it'll be another long season. Recruits will be hard to come by after the disastrous season we have just witnessed them have from the perennial finals contender. I reckon not even the return of golden child Challis will be help enough to pull East out from the doldrums in 2016.

7th - 11th Geelong West - a rebuilding season now out of the way for the cheetahs, 2016 now shapes as one to consolidate on. News coming through of a few GFL recruits could propel Geelong West from obscurity to a competitive side in 2016.

7th- 11th Corio - the peoples community club looks to be heading on the up with the return of club favourites, the Huhns, BJ O'Toole, Corey Collins from Anakie and also some players have come across from the WRFL. Corio who did not manage to get a win this season will set the bar high, I think a record of 6-8 wins will be a huge success for the devils in 2016.

8th-11th Winchelsea - the conclusion of the 2015 season saw great improvement from the blues boys, and I feel with the juniors getting games under their belt regularly, it can only be positives from the boys from Winchelsea.

8th - 12th Werribee Centrals - not heard a heck of a lot from the boys from Galvin Park other than a plethora of omissions, including the Butty's and Montebruno's along with a few key midfielders. Werribee's proud history has been somewhat soured in the past couple of season and I feel that will continue in 2016.

9th - 12th Anakie - 2016 could be one of experimentation and rebuilding for Anakie. Losing Wilson and Collins, two of their best players will not help, the new coaches have a big task ahead of them as it seems the money has dried out down at Anakie.

ALL players EVERYONE on the Corio list is paying fees, all apparel is at a cost to players and no fuel money is being paid to anyone

Every senior player and the top 5 reserve players has been offered 50 a loss 100 win
To be eligible to get the money you have signed the standard contract

Players are coming because they want to be part of building something special that in future years will lead to success for the club not everyone is in it for money unlike someone players of the past at Corio and other gdfl clubs

Not everybody is a mercenary in football
