Just seen mention of delayed press conference on the RFC twitter feed - I may be out of the loop, but was this expected? Strange they mentioned him specifically I would have thought, unless it's an announcement of sorts...

He is probably deemed the spokesman for the group and he will most likely come out and floor us with surprise with never before uttered words, like we let our fans down, we didnt come to play, we need to go back to doing the basics well, we love our coach with all our heart because he can see on his stats sheet who can and who cant deliver...we do love him dearly. ;)

Agree. He makes our back line better when he is in.
Guess it was Chappy's fault we lost the EF and not the respected players like Cotchin, Conca, Edwards, Ellis that had bad games.
Or North putting hard tags on some of the above, which we did nothing about it in the coaches box.
We also let Harvey run riot, which we did nothing about in the coaches box.
Or Batchelor for his role on Waite, that they should have changed in the coaches box.

Rance is a better player when Chaplin plays.
Rance really has no idea what the **** he's doing really I reckon and Chappy organizes that defence.
Rance can just concentrate on doing what he does best, he looked A bit lost trying to organize blokes when Chappy was out.

Thought he was pretty handy on Saturday. Have to wonder if we would have set up and controlled the ball better in the final minutes against Collingwood if he was there. Bit of an indictment on our backline group if so.

we had the third best defense in the comp last year, we have a problem kicking goals so lets dismantle the backline.

genius

Without a doubt but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Absolutely no way that debacle happens v Collingwood if he played.
He has his issues but he's very good at organizing players where they need to be.
