Bring back my favourite player . LG was the only position that we didn't need an upgrade.

Osemele will be an upgrade on Jackson. Jackson is still starting though, just on the right side at RG.

notice how AJ MCCARRON hit a magnificent deep bomb right in the bucket to Tyler Boyd, with one of his first few throws, and all under duress in the pocket.

Meanwhile, with the Raiders practicing the "go" route while Carr was on the field, Carr overshot of ton of them, without any pressure in his face.

LOL! Your hatred of Carr really knows no bounds.

First go route was on the money to Cooper. Cooper needs to drag his right foot.
The second go route again should've been caught by Cooper. It almost looked like Coop got caught in the lights because he shortened his arms when going for the football.
Third was caught by Crabtree.
The fourth one should've been a check down to Roberts.

If you're going to criticise Carr, back it up with actual facts rather than your hyperbole. Or better yet, get your head out of Cook's rear end and try to look at the situation a little more objectively :)

But I like using hyperbole :p

If you check gg's history of drafting and trading in dynasty leagues you would more understand his rather different points of view on all things football.

Damn

Raiders DE Mario Edwards' hip strain is expected to cost him 4-6 weeks.

The injury appeared potentially year ending when Edwards went down in Oakland's exhibition opener, so the 4-6 week timeline qualifies as good news for the Raiders. Still, Edwards will be on the doubtful side of questionable for Week 1, and could conceivably miss Week 2 as well. Edwards' absence from the season opener at New Orleans would improve the matchup for Mark Ingram.

Lucky it wasn't a torn labrum (which would be season ending IR).
Not overly concerned as this stage. Like Andana says, we still have Autry, Cowser, and Jihad Ward. Can also plug Dan Williams and Ellis on the line together so we have plenty of options.

MATT ISAACS
MARCH/APRIL 2016
Adelson has used his fortune to reshape right-wing politics in both America and Israel, establishing himself as a GOP kingmaker in the post-Citizens United era. In December, he backed a secretive $140 million purchase of the Review-Journal, putting Nevada's largest paper in the hands of its richest resident and a fixture of its biggest industry, and increasing his influence on Nevada's early presidential caucuses. And now, as the 2016 campaign swings into high gear, Adelson faces a long-standing Justice Department probe that could generate embarrassing headlines for the mogul and the candidates he backs.

A diminutive 82-year-old with a lumpy face and a puff of thinning red hair, Adelson is the 13th-richest man in the United States, worth more than $20 billion, according to Forbes. Though he made his initial fortune in Vegas, he joined the ranks of the superrich following his 2001 investment in Macau, a once run-down seaport an hour's ferry ride from Hong Kong that in the last decade has overshadowed Vegas to become the world's gambling capital. Adelson's casinos in Macau, a special administrative region of China, provide the majority of the revenue for his company, Las Vegas Sands. But beneath Macau's glitz lurk organized crime, corruption, and a shadow banking system that has allegedly laundered billions of dollars for China's ruling elite. In 2013, the chair of Nevada's powerful Gaming Control Board told a federal commission that it was "common knowledge" that the lucrative VIP rooms in Macau casinos have "long been dominated by Asian organized crime." That same year, a federal commission cited a study finding that more than $200 billion in "ill-gotten funds are channeled through Macau each year."

To be honest, Carr has not separated himself from Cook or McGloin. The former a mere rookie with 30 snaps under his belt.

Seriously, you see it now, y'all, don't you? Cook is not far away from taking the job from Carr if Carr continues to struggle or meander like he has been instead of supposedly elevating himself in camp/preseason now, stamping himself as the best young QB in the league like he should be doing if he was the real deal.

Carr should be separating himself, indeed, elevating himself not just in the Raiders, but in comparison around the league to other starters. Compare his stats with other starting QBs in the league....like Dalton, etc. Carr is meandering. Not making a statement that he's the best young QB in the league. Tho it's preseason, he should still be incredibly polished, leading the first team offense to an easy TD on all his first drives, like the Rodgers, Bradys, Rivers, etc do in their preseason games.

Garoppolo, McCarron, Prescott, etc etc, they're all shining, not just stats, but performance, the polish. Carr pulls the trigger short rather than gunsling deep, and his deep ball accuracy is suspect compared to the throws I've seen other QBs make already in the preseason.

What about Cooper on the piss weak effort today? Its little wonder he is gun shy when he throws passes deep one on one and his receiver just lets the db INT it.

On the contrary i saw Carr hit Cooper with a beautiful pass down the sideline today, tight window, double coverage. If anything he should probably look for Cooper/Crabtree deep less than he does, try more screen passes or dump offs to the RB's to get himself going. Walford is a handy target also.

I think he forces it a bit too much on occasions but he's still young, he will learn, lets not get third team D confused with first team, mate. Carr will be fine.
