Trading Freeman was hardly part of a plan to get Aish. It was just luck good and bad plus another 2nd rounder that got us Aish. It's not like we said 'Let's take Freeman with pick 10 and when he breaks down we'll swap him for Aish'.

Well DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR but I would not suprise me that Hine was Thinking we could get Aish thru Trade even back then

That forward line will prove to be too slow. IMO can't play all of Crameri, Boyd and Cloke. Better off having a more mobile forward line given the dogs style of play.
Crameri is reasonably versatile, Boyd plays ruck/forward and costs too much to drop for long. One dimensional Cloke is the 250k player who cost not much - he's the first one dropped.

Adams is turning 23

Shaw has 2-3 seasons left
Adams has 9-10 seasons left

Shaw was a total flog in his last 2 seasons and his on field discrepancies started to hurt us. He was hating footy.

Adams is a potential future captain.
Shaw regained form and is enjoying his footy again.

Move on! Can't think of a more even trade than this.

If Hine is so good that he can predict and orchestrate a trade 2 years before it takes place, then he is truly the most revered of all the recruiters! How lucky are we to have exclusive rights to his infinite wisdom.
