WTF are we going to do with all these picks if we end up with 4 in the top 10 + Hanley

Next week we need to find teams to allow us to dump some contracts so we can draft the kids - Shaw, Matera, Brooksby, Schade - the tribe has spoken, you must leave the Coast immediately, say goodbye to your friends...

Hawks can take Schade
Port take Brooksby if we get Ah Chee
Bombers or Blues take Matera
Norf take Shaw
Malceski can be paid out and can be re-rookied and play NEAFL and assistant coach

We have 3 picks in the top 10 - I would redraft JOM at 8 and tell Hawks what Colin Young told GWS RE McCarthy

'We'll be back here next year doing the same thing, guarantee it'

People think that is a wasted pick but if he plays next year we will at least get that back next year in a trade, especially if he plays well.

Anyway JOM will just show his true colors if they ask him to take his chances in the ND and just go to the Bombers in the PSD - his loyalty is above reproach ;)

A Hawks supporter said that if they miss out on JOM through the draft at least they will still be able to build around Hartung and Whitecross for the future LOL

The Hawks have completely thrown up on themselves this week. Clarkson's minder (Fagan) has been gone 2 weeks and he has been too clever by half and is pissing off champions and getting their trades wrong. Surely they could have given a 2017 1st for Mitchell and 14 for us and saved themselves picks 23 and 36.

He's not really tough. Most of it is cheap shots behind play when the other player isn't watching. We had another Hawks player just as faux tough as this guy and that was a waste of time as well.

I think we are good with 4 x top 10s - maybe 10 and 22 for 5 if we are getting desperate to offload picks

There's a lot of trade week to play out yet, but with rookie upgrades we don't necessarily need to have 3 real picks

If you guys do end up with picks 4, 6, 8 and 10 then there's a massive opportunity. Critically you need to use them to either draft or trade for 4 players who really want to play for the Gold Coast Suns

Was just wondering if you folks have heard any "whispers" (as they say) regarding this "rumour". As the only discussion on the topic is one thread on the Geelong board. I can't seem to find a GAJ trade thread in the rumours/trade or GC suns board on this matter. Why is that so?

Yes..it continues over the weekend as well..Seems like we'll get pick 10 from Hawks + Player,Richmond and Pick 6 is easy...Have no idea what the issue is!?
