There's a new thread now for detailed player rankings because it was unanimously decided that one arbitrary overall ranking didn't give a clear enough picture. We will start with kicking accuracy before moving on to kicking distance, handballs, marking, intensity, endurance, aggression, speed, ruckwork, awareness, durability, etc.

I'm keeping the faith that the game is good, but I'm not going to lie, I'm starting to get a little concerned. They are clearly trying to show off the graphics of the game (which look great), but they are hiding something.

I mean surely it's not hard to demonstrate an in-game screenshot to give us an idea of the game, maybe that's their tactic. I hope to see one soon but yeah does anyone else feel the same way?

I remember the same vibe with AFL Live 1, it looked good for player stills and then they released some in-game pics and I got pretty anxious about it, but fortunately it worked out!!

I would hate to be in charge of the tru blue Facebook account and WW as well with all this bombardment..I understand everyone is anxious but it's clearly OBVIOUS that the promotion of the game will lead into the AFL season ..it wil start just after the Women's Leauge or even during it so the can say "due to the success of the Women's Leauge we will also be adding them to the game " then just after that it will get even more interest and bang in no time it will be out !

It seems as if they are going to release one player for each team until release. 9 have been released, 9 to go.

So much depends on the release date. Sure if it's out next week all these face shots and no gameplay seems odd but if it's released in May they could release a trailer now and people would still be wondering why after that there was nothing new for however long.

Maybe this is all part of the plan for a build up to release or maybe the classification leak forced them to confirm it just a little early and they're trying to use these as fillers.

Im over the head shots, Tbh I'd prefer a menu screenshot at this point but we just can't read into anything until we know a release date and see some gameplay. At least WW have released some info about features as well and are trying to build some hype, I'm still hoping that's a good sign.

The AFL Live 1 trailer came out late February and the game itself was out on April 21st? 2 months is decent enough.

I think they did this last time with Live 2. I was thinking the game was going to be graphically and even gameplay wise better. Boy, was I wrong.

I think Live 2 was announced in July and came out in September. There wasnt such a wait for it like there was with Live 1 and it really showed! Piece of crap game looked like it was put together in about those 2 months!

I think it's more 9 more player faces until a big reveal with trailer, screenshots and release date. So approx. 9 teams 7 days. 63 days, add a few more. Guessing we should have a major reveal in about 70-80 days from now.

How is seeing the menu or a screenshot going to alleviate any angst about this being a turd? You can only tell that once you're playing it.
