Well. JUBJUB was supposed to start this thread, after our little brouhaha last year. But apparently his health is only slightly worse than Misbah ul Haq batting this summer.

So I'll start this thread again. Hopefully the thread will be even more eventful a jam packed than last year.

Details to come. Hopefully somebody else will put them up. Otherwise I'll have to rip it off V8Central.

Saturday 4th February Top Ten Shootout 3.30pm-4.30pm
Sunday 5th February Race 5:30am-6.00pm

Go my main man Russell Ingall , not expecting a win but a top 10 would be decent.

Wonder how much development has gone into the Bentley the last 2 years.
Assuming BMW are faster now too ?

Hopefully the Mercs and Lambos can show something more this year.

I reckon the race would gain more mainstream traction if it was a Saturday race. With daylight savings still going, run it from 8am-8pm. Treat it like a WACA Test with the news. Move it over to another channel for that 1/2 hour.
