So has this "head/neck/throat" definition always been a thing in relation to high contact, or is this something that's just been made up to lead to the desired outcome? (With North once again the reason for the change)

If it was, most likely a medical report that noted no injury to McLean. Definitely not that we provided a medical report in an attempt to get Cunnington suspended as a couple were insinuating.

Youse only do that to Thomas then?

I've definitely seen it before.

the ultimate team player. Knows young Bradley can't decide who to leave out next week, Andrew or Declan, just made his week a bit easier and lets Andy and Dec have another week. Good job Benjamin
Which means we get one step closer to that elusive Pick 1 making him the Mega-Ultimate team player.

You say that like western have never done that kind of thing before.

Better call Bont (tm)

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the Western Bulldogs Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head/neck/throat area.

How could you have a medical report on this incident?
Hunters old man took Mclean to hospital?

It's elongated after years of ducking and being caught high.
Having the intent to be first to the ball didn't save LT from being deemed a serial pest.Seems nothing sticks to WB players.

Not sure how he gets 2 weeks down to 1 for that. Would have thought that a base of 1 with no change would be sufficient. That incident isn't worthy of a 2 week ban. Dumb move though.

After seeing the footage from several angles, they almost had to make it head/neck/throat/upper pectoral to actually be accurate in describing the incident.

"Hi doc, just checking on the medical report for Toby after his incident with Ben Cunnington as we're looking to clarify whether the impact was to his neck or chest, ta."

"He required an emergency Tracheotomy? So that'd be the neck then yeah? Thanks."

Next time employ the open handed* six inch punch to the sternum Ben.
