I think he enjoys himself enormously and doesn't actually take himself all that seriously. Quite a top quality troll really. Unfortunately, he kind of spoiled it by trying to play the "if I'm not so clever, why are you responding to me" card (for the record, I didn't respond to this last post of his -- I know how this game is played!)
