You guys! Yet again there's reports from this thread pertaining to the 'is it racist' debate from 2 days ago. We never used to have problems with this thread, but it seems that there's a small group of people intent on ruining it for the long term participants.

I've already given out one thread ban and I'm happy to give out more if I need to. Just get back to the song contest--I don't want to see that stupid argument referenced again. So last round in a nutshell. Bruce Springsteen's Italian heritage was deemed to be a tenuous link to the theme and yet the winning song's only link to Italy was that it was used in a TV show about the Mafia.

And not a tv show about the real Italian mafia either, but fictional New Jersey bogans who claim Italian ancestry, much like Bruce Springsteen
