'Virgins' was Ulahoopski's description of bands & artists who hadn't been nominated previously. This quickly became part of the song contest lexicon, but has now been incorrectly bastardised by the noobs.

There is nothing "virginal" about 95% of the nominations for this round. It's simply an extension of the "no previous podiums" rule... The old "song can't have been nommed before" rule which is occasionally applied.

So you nominated a song which hasn't been nommed before... Congratulations!!!
Some of us have managed to do that for EVERY ROUND we play...
