Nice to see we are going in the right direction.

Some very interesting comparisons that will no doubt be picked over by the new CEO.

Saints are interesting for me.

Low revenue, including from gaming, sponsorships, merchandise, yet very high on the profit side. Spend similar amount to us on the footy department. Can't all be explained by the equalisation payment. Seem to have a fair rein on costs.

Really surprised that the Saints have been able to achieve a $5M + profit although they seem to be getting a fair whack via AFL distributions.

Originally thought our profit wasn't too bad when originally announced but seeing Essendon running a $5M profit is a little annoying.

Yes we did, across 2007 and 2008. Part of the 17 million redevelopment. Essendon got grants for Tullamarine, Collingwood and North for theirs as well. Cant remember a club that hasnt got grants.
Can confirm.

Doggies got the Chris Grant

How Collingwood are getting that much revenue from members and sponsors is beyond me...

I'm guessing because they included matchday profits? The top 4 all include 'something' with their tally. There's not a huge difference between us and St Kilda, Dogs, *, and Hawks.

Would be interesting to see Richmond's numbers here on the back of their premiership.
