There's an objective head football writer in there somewhere. Lost amongst the booze, upstairs pressure and red and black agenda somewhere.
I agree, great work by all involved....something a little left field by the club & something that will appeal maybe to those people that don't have a club & are new to the AFL.
Keep writing your sh*t Robbo as it only adds to the popularity of the skit & gets more viewers.

This is true. There was a time. maybe about a decade ago where he was ok at his job, but seems somewhere in last decade, he has gone right off the tangent and has never recovered credibility or objectivity with how he handled writing about that whole shameful era. The comments by him on Fasolo last year were last straw of giving him benefit of doubt he could recover some objectivity.

Malthouse was the recession we had to have, without him we may not have changed our ways and would be still stuck thinking finals wins were just around the corner and looking for the next messiah to take us to the promised land.
While the alarm bells started for me with a book tour instead of assessing the list, I will be forever grateful for the pain he caused, leading to us embracing the reality of our situation and doing the right things to fix the problem.

Yes. Believe I said he was a grumpy old prick, but he was our grumpy old prick so I would back him in. Even defended his crap towards the media, who I have little sympathy for.
Changed my mind in his second season when he didn’t seem to learn from the first. Showed he was there for the wrong reasons.
