Same reason Thommo was was limping from stoppage to stoppage in his last senior season when CEY was gunning it in the 2's. Once a senior player is in, they can't be belittled by being replaced with a junior player. Have you ever wondered why David Mackay is named on the field every week but starts on the bench? Yep a few injuries are going to be the making of the Crows.Opportunity and depth for the long season...Poholke needs a run as does the Gallucci and yes even blood O'Brien.
This is going to be a roller coaster season with so many injuries and blokes not completely fit but this is a gusty team.

Jenkins playing the game as a genuine key forward.
Milera - Looked great off half back. Surprisingly seemed quite aggressive. Keep him at HB until Smith returns.

Was impressed with mileras physicality and agression tonight. He's never going to a fog like player but his intent was excellent. Looks to have actually put on some muscle. It was great to see him getting into the stoushes tonight.

I had a brain fade last night trying to work out who number 30 was. I did not associate that silhouette/body shape from up in the stands with twiggy Milera

I've read the first 10 pages before bed and there is no love for Luke Brown. Thought he had a really good game and is picking up some attacking slack in Smith's absence.
