As for SPP, did he do something we're not aware of? From the vision, it looks like he grabbed a girls arm while he was drunk, which didn't look great, but I wouldn't say it was anything outrageous.

The delusion is amazing.
...
Selwood boo's - not sure if there was any real booing. Then has a caller on telling him there was booing. Proceeds to try and clarify with that caller "so what you're telling me is that you could hear booing?" Actually trying to debate if it really happened or not.
I was at the game, I can tell you first hand there was a lot of booing. We were already heading out by the time they medal was announced and were behind the western stands, so somewhat sheltered from crowd noise.

It was still quite loud and very very noticeable even from where we were.

The delusion is very real, although not a usual 5AA listener I happened to hear this particular part of Kane’s segment on the way home today and he just sounds like a mouthpiece for the club.

I mean, whatever, it’s debatable how much of a big deal it is, but to pretend it didn’t happen just undermines his credibility for no real reason.

So has Cornes come out and said anything about SPP, the punch on, the pitch invader, their lack of sponsorship or how about admitting their team is shit?

Nah didn’t think so....

I've been waiting for ages for him to rip into Boak's leadership, and nothing. But Tex has one bad night out against Collingwood and Cornes starts teeing off.

You would think a coaching masterclass might include winning.
I put on a piano masterclass the other night.

I sat with Beethoven's symphony no. 5 sheet music in front of me....And I played.

Sure I couldnt actually play it well...(actually, at all).
It sounded more like a random mashing of keys actually.

But I had the blueprint for a masterpiece. That makes me a pretty good pianist well worthy of a 4 year deal

Agreed, this is quite scandalous to be honest. He isn’t being ‘allowed’ to play by the AFL but there has been no judiciary process ?!?!? And if footy classifird is to be believed then the AFL have done an investigation but not released it !?!!?? The afl is the dark state.

That's not the incident that is in question, it happened inside a nightclub which the footage hasn't been released

Perhaps the AFL is protecting SPP from the media and general public by not handing over or releasing its findings. Surely the findings are based on more than merely some foggy blurred vision from a camera stuck in the corner. However, it’s the AFL guys. Who knows what they’re doing?...with anything.

Sounds like the quarrel is over the wording of the report, it would make SPP sound like a sexual predator, Caro reckons the AFL will change the wording and it will be a 3 week suspension.

Caro has no cred at all commenting on this. She’s flip flopped all over the shop and knows **** all about it. It is her “understanding”...after Port lined her pockets...

How can there be a quarrel over the wording of the report when Port claims to have not seen it?

According to Kern, they're not ready.
I don’t get this

Were Poholke and Galluci ready to play against Sydney?

Sometimes you just have to play them and hope they perform

Instead of replacing a ruckman with a ruckman they bring in Jake Neade !!!!

And that’s why I love that club!

Is Koch’s QC the same QC that wrote that the GC have to wear their away strip in the China game contract ?

I think Kane Cornes initially made some comment about how players' salaries should be public record (which I agree with).

Here's another classic beef...

Can’t read it coz the flog has blocked me / Tex needs to ask what he’s earning NOW !
Tex should disclose his wage back in the day too !
Who cares what he earnt years ago

Come on, it was a master stroke, Neade was their highest goal kicker

The other possibility is that Kochie is lying and just grandstanding. What he said yesterday is 100% spot on. The AFL should supply the full report to SPP and I believe Port as well. We would want that for our club/player as well.

Kochie has form in embellishing the truth when he is not happy and grandstanding about taking action (to appease the Lemming Port supporters) and does nothing other than talk.

Remember the "contract" regarding GC wearing their home jumper in Shanghai last year and his tough talk about them not being allowed to play in Shanghai in 2018. Well he was wrong about the contract and they are playing GC this year in Shanghai. There was little push back from Port other than his tantrum.

Now that Foghorn Leghorn has sounded off it will be interesting to see what action comes from it. History suggests none.

I'm not convinced that Kochie actually knew what was in the contract before making the jumper demands with Gold Coast. He comes across as a big mouth who doesn't check his facts properly.

With regard to SPP, it's quite reasonable to request to see the AFL report & it's reasoning behind the findings. He would want to be absolutely sure the AFL are refusing to provide the details to PAFC before demanding it through the media, because if he is "embellishing the truth & grandstanding" the AFL are going to hit him & his club hard.

It would be amusing if the AFL came out and showed proof of them emailing the report directly to SPP or KT and Kochie was the only one not to receive it and has gone off before fact checking.

They're playing GC again this year in Shanghai because nobody else wants to do it. He should be down on his knees thanking GC for propping up his ludicrous little experiment. It's their home game that they're giving up, FFS, not Port's. If Kochie wants GC wearing their away jumper then he should have moved Port's home game, not GC's. But of course he can't do that because of the Adelaide Oval deal that requires them to play all their home games at AO. Luckily for him GC are willing to come to the party, otherwise Port's China experiment would consist of an internal trial during preseason. That might not be a bad idea, though - we all know Port are at their best from October - March.
