I think 3 is a bit harsh personally. 2 would've been my guess but ah well. He performed a near perfect bump, but by the looks maybe his shoulder might've just touched the head in the act, for me that makes it illegal, but not so bad that its a 3 game penalty.
However given our experience of being reamed by the tribunal in trial by media cases like this then it's probably a good result.

REH, that means it was marginally inside the severe rating. There’s no category in between High and Severe. His argument was absurd. He threw Thomas under the bus but got away with it. 3 weeks is about right.
I cant believe this in the light of the hawthorn player getting off scott free, that is absolute gut wrenching rubbish. The Hawthorn player was allowed to bump and knock the NM guy into next week when he could have offered some other solution, fair dinkum these afl tools are bas#@*ds.
Wonder if a month is enough time to help him fix his out of control skin folds.

AFL bullshit. Should have been 2 weeks and never gone to tribunal. How do they rate as severe when they say Burton has no case to answer. Inconsistent and corrupt.
IIRC this was at what felt like a pretty big moment too (Third qtr I think?). Unforgivable.
