My first game I’ve been too in person since last year! Been out of the country for the last 4 months, so this was a really nice welcome back!

- Ridley looked like he belonged from the get go, what I love about him just uses common sense with his decision making.

- I loved seeing Clarke touching or putting body on Geelong’s midfielders at stoppages

- Walla playing like an absolute god

- McKernan channeled his inner Corey today

- Langford showed intensity and poise

- Today reaffirmed how Fantasia is just about our most important player in the forward half

- Nice to see Crameri kick a goal

- Dea showed he is really good depth in a pinch

Plenty more positives, but overall it was just really nice to be there and experience a win!

Glad you could get to the game and enjoy a win mate.

McGrath comes back via VFL, Hurley straight in for Ambrose (only if he's 100% fit, if not don't risk it).
Hurley won’t play the next two.

What a sensational effort. Makes me wonder who that other team was I've been watching the past month.

As everyone has said Ridley looks to be something special in the making. Has ice in his veins. Its good because we did miss out on Witherden who I rate very highly. I was surprised by how mobile Ridley actually is. I think he'll be tried in a few positions over the journey. Clarke wasn't as active but still registered 5 tackles and got to line up against Dangerfield at times. What an experience for the young man.

Heppell really lead from the front today. That run down tackle on Selwood was the epitome of him giving everything he had defensively. Heppell's a slow player on his best day, so you know he was giving 100% to make that tackle.

Fantasia is the barometer for our team. When he's up and about causing chaos from the midfield to the forward line we are an infinitely better team. Without him we look pedestrian.

Tippa showed the kind of class and defensive pressure that we haven't seen since last year. When he gets lots of the ball, scoring seems so easy.

Zac Merrett broke through the malaise that had been holding him back and had the type of game that we saw many times last year in his aa year. Great defensive intensity and beautiful kicking.

Hooker was the supreme interceptor that we haven't been able to see for several years due to circumstances. Did concede a few late ones but who cares.
