Today is the first time I have ever seen a Port Adelaide FC side change its rucks at full back.

Saw Lienert jog towards the player race in his street clothes at 3/4 time. Hope he is back soon. Need him down back.

Lobbe did it for a half in 2013 or 2014 against Carlton at Docklands when Redden was playing as our first ruck. Needless to say it didn’t last past half time.

Most of the Sanfl clubs only achieve anything of note by pillaging players we developed. With our zones having been taken away, they won't be able to do that forever and the standards will drop accordingly. Make no mistake, the Sanfl clubs are horrendous at developing anything themselves.

They are s**t and have been for years, but the system doesn't give them any incentive to. Develop gun youngsters, to if lucky get them for a year as underdeveloped physically before they are drafted to the AFL. A TAC equivalent and all lower grades should be run by the AFL directly, leaving the SANFL as the equivalent of the VFL (the official VFL, not the unofficial, 'It's still the VFL, though we call it the AFL').
