The problem with Polec is his rating amongst the AFL fraternity doesn't match his ability. Polec is one of the best wingmen in the whole league and if we lose him it'll be a MASSIVE set back for us, but outsiders just haven't realised he is that good yet.

While i agree with this 100%, for just under $4mil in 5 in years and 1 mil in first year i'd pretty much pack his bags for him. big win for an outside midfielder with historic injury problems, once that figure got brought up he was basically gone because no way it is matched here. if norths offer shakes loose another suitor like St Kilda, all the better.
