The 'Australian Criminal Deportation Policy' makes it pretty clear, just wish our gutless Government would enforce it:

Parliament vests in the Minister for Immigration, Local Government and Ethnic Affairs the discretion to determine whether resident non-Australian citizens who have been convicted in Australia of certain serious criminal conduct are to be removed from Australia by deportation. In exercising that discretion the Minister is exercising the right of the Australian community to be protected and to choose who will be permitted to remain as a permanent resident.

• constitutes a threat because there is a risk that he/she will commit further offences if allowed to remain; or

And I guess it's got nothing whatsoever to do with U.S foreign policy either, eh?

Lets examine the causes first & keep our focus on trying to fix that wrong first.....That way, all these refugees won't have to flee from their homes & countries in the first place.

I haven't read every post in the thread, but other than Sudanese, what non-white people have been the subject of posts here? Some dude posted something about how the Chinese are oppressing the Uyghur for some reason, and someone else posted about a multi-racial gang that included Sudanese when they were trying to mock the idea that Sudanese are over-represented in crime. Missed whatever you're referring to though.

There you go again, a couple of people took the street over the low life (white) who killed Jill Meagher & it doesn't suit your narrative so you ignore/dismiss it - meh you say on the basis of colour, says more about you than any of your protestations, hollow/shallow.

Only if you hold citizenship of another country and not hold Australian. Hence why most of the deportations tend to be our kiwis cousins

Yes pess Islam, everything to do with islam.

For 1500 years the sudan was nubian christian then the ottomans and the Egyptians invaded ruled and pillaged. The Madhi revolted against the Egyptians and the Poms and a few australian and canadians stepped in. Britain rulled till the 50s then after independence the muslims tried introducing sharia law on everyone and then when the christian said hang on, the arabs went back to trying to obliterate them.

He really could be. Being present at two events that erupted into violence doesn't make him necessarily a thug. There would have been hundreds of innocent people in the vicinity of both crimes and probably quite a few that were present at both and innocent of any wrongdoing. But yeah, he could be part of the problem. That might come out eventually.
