Feeling very comfortable with state of the rebuild right now - 80% done and from there natural draft and development can become the focus. Need to find 2 midfielders, one goalsneak and a very smart gorilla defender.

I know that Cuningham is not one of our projected guns, but if he gets his body right he could be the big improver next year.

He already has all the tools; big body, good under pressure, pace and burst speed, good by foot and can also kick a goal. To date his disposal count has been down but it was encouraging when he can back through the NBs this year that he didn't just impress, he dominated.

If he can start playing consistent footy in 2019 I reckon that's one of the 2 mids we are looking for to compete our on-ball brigade.

Get him fit and out of the back half.

We’ve got a queue of players waiting on fitness improvements and DC should be one to benefit off AR’s arrival. Into midfield rotations/wing and forward of centre & we have another new recruit in the running for game time.

maybe I've been watching too many history docos but I'm starting to think the ****ing romans would do a better job building our stadia

Port still have hope for both but it means somehow getting Wingard to Dogs, getting pick 7 and then packaging up pick 6, 7, and 10 for something like pick 3 and 4 together and hope pick 1 and 2 from us and Gold Coast does not involve Luko. They should be more realistic and just aim for one. They already paid a lot to get to pick 6. If they can rise to pick 3 somehow they should settle there for one of them.

Sun is bad enough on the southern side during footy matches. Test match will be interesting for the public.

Got my position (though must be subject to wind burn as walked out burnt even when in the shade), not as good as the WACA however and inside bar position.

Unpopular opinion but I am relieved we didn't get him. Here's why

1. I think he is mostly overrated. Good player and would help but not a game changer

2. The Future First Pick can now very possibly be used for player(s) that will help us a lot more

3. We got Setterfield who IMO will be a much better player and is only 20

4. Allows others to play midfield and take responsibility. Dow SPS Setterfield O'Brien Fisher all get more time and can easily be as good if not better

5. True improvement will come from the young group and players that at the moment we aren't convinced about. i.e Cuningham Polson Garlett Pickett etc. If any or a couple of them step up we will be so much better

6. We have money for another player or players

7. Made Essendon put all there eggs in one basket. Needs to work for them or they are stuck

8. Allows us to develop depth a bit easier

I’d be working with GCFC (as would PTA) for trading for both 2 & 3.

I’m hoping in a couple of years we will be able to put him in the Rockliff, Carlisle and Trav Cloke basket of bullets dodged. So far, the target that we missed that hurts the most is probably Devon Smith. Or Tom Mitchell, depending on how hard we actually chased him.

I’m hoping * miss the Finals in 2019, and then we finish higher than in 2020 and afterwards.

Not a fair comparison. The romans had simpler planning laws and just executed local residents that complained about parking or light towers.
