Little depressing seeing other clubs secure established talent when we desperately needed to, especially Lions who should have been no better a sell to Neale than us, and they are paying him peanuts comparatively...

If you look close its all high priced deckchairs so far other than Neale. Apart from us that is.

How about we accept #1 for Martin & #6.
Trade #6 for Shiel...

I know not a big difference in number between #6 and Essendon's #9, but all the draft phantoms suggest the top 7 are clearly a step higher than the rest, so the difference could be bigger than we think and enough to tempt GWS.

Gives GWS access to a King twin or Smith most likely.

Or squeeze GC for #3 instead of #6 and ontrade that instead.

Ultimately #1 for Martin & Shiel would be a massive win.

Then look at what our first pick in the draft is

I don't think GC will give up 2 or 3 since they want to draft a 'set' eg Luko/Rankine or King brothers.

Assuming GC goes for Luko pick 1, Rankine pick 2...for pick 1...they still have their 2 picks to get who they want?
