I think the first 3 games show there is reasonable merit in keeping a big kitty in the bank (450k for me) in the hope you can identify the changes in the season and pick guys whose new year scoring represents their price better.

For a pick I did little research on other than following the advice of ThePuppetMaster (I think?), Wagner is proving very handy. 123k rookie getting a 60+, meant I didn't have to keep with a Smith/Hately/Jones or even Cousins pick.
