You're right, he should. I agree. But going on the result of the Ben Cunnington case from last week, he'll probably only get a fine. Elliot jumped up pretty quick, which means it'll be graded as low impact.
I'm guessing a lot of players were blindsided when contact was made, as it was just over the boundary and Grimes body may have been in the way. Plus Billy getting up quickly made it seem less serious, maybe.

Cunnington correct me if Im wrong was a love tap to the solar plexes hits his arm as well, imo a lot different then leading with an elbow straight as someones jaw. As for the player yeah on second thought they likely did what i did and watched the kick missing the incident I only saw it on replay.

Richmond bombed at least 7 shots at goal from turnovers which a more classy side may have made us pay for. Richmond do have about 5 or 6 jarrod Blair types running around. Hardly the quality or depth of mids we have. Was anyone seriously expecting anything less than a 7 goal win? Great 4th qtr though.

Your use of 'they' instead of 'we' tells me everything i need to know about you being a Pies supporter.

Will potentially be an issue against West Coast, Kennedy and Darling both are predominately leading forwards.

You'll rarely ever keep those type of players fully contained but more often than not the battle against them is won or lost in the midfield.

With intentional high contact he gets a week even with low impact. So dumb given when it occurred.

If there was a match review panel for sending abusive emails and texts to Richmond supporters today, I would be sent straight to the tribunal.

You sound like the dad of one of my mates from school who told my mate anything less that 99.9 in his VCE and he was a failure and a disgrace.

My mate now lives in an ashram somewhere in India smoking as much hash as he can get his hands on.

So his dad was right?

The brains of the Richmond brains trust cannot be trusted at this point in time.

One of the best examples I've ever seen of an oxymoron... well done sir.

I generally avoid singling out individuals where I can, but I wanted to make special mention of a guy I’ve been critical of over the journey, Clangers. Forget Moore and Crisp when this bloke plays with the intensity he has for the first two weeks of the season he doesn’t get beaten and is our best defender. Hopefully this is his new standard because he will be AA at the end of the year if it is and he’ll be rated behind only Grimes as a general defender.
All aboard the Langdon express. He's becoming a gun.

Could Reid at present do what checkers did last night? For me the Reid vs Mihocek debate is a no brainer. Mihocek wins hands down

Now with Beams added to the 2019 playing group, honestly, anything less than a minor premiership (18-4) and winning the GF by 10 goals is basically under achieving. This playing group is basically Geelong of 2007.

Pure domination of the league in 2019 is the only acceptable outcome to me. Otherwise it’s a “weeeelll it’s a stacked list he’s got to work with, more player talent than actual game plan and strategy that eeked out a 16 point win in the GF”. I mean, seriously, could you imagine what Clarkson could do with this list? Your taking about an undefeated season...

I know I for one will be calling for the head of Buckley if win the Grand Final by only 8 goals.

I'll accept the glory, but it really belongs to Dion Prestia. He often goes by another oxymoron, 'Richmond midfielder'.

If he keeps playing like he did last night I’ll take back everything I’ve ever said about him.

I've thought for a year and a half that after the first quarter of matches he's been very very good. The issue has been that he's generally looked stoned for the first quarter and made a couple of clangers that have put supporters on his back. Hopefully he continues to be ready to play from the first bounce.

Last year it was gastro this year it was the umpiring...….......RFC the gift that keeps on giving.

R.I.P Richmond

I don’t like the gamestyle. I don’t like the coaches philosophy at all. Still give up red time goals consistently. And until that changes, this “take unnecessary risks at all costs” mentality, will continue to be the achilles heal in close games where teams lock us down.

You can yap at me all ya like, end of the day if we ain’t holding the cup at the end of the year, with this playing group, responsibility lies with the coach. He’s already bombed the unlosable GF in 2018 with a nonexistent ability to drill the playing group to stop red time goals. 29 points up in the first qtr and they conceded goals in red time each and every qtr. They leaked red time goals vs Cats and again last night.

So you think it is a realistic expectation to hold the premier in 2017, minor premier last year and one of the premiership favorites this year to zero goals in a game?

He's been playing at this standard for a fair while now IMO. He's second half and finals especially last year were very good.

13 extra free kicks dont equal 44 points, simply outplayed go pies

I'm not going to read this thread much past this post but I can't fathom anyone saying the umpires worked in our favour. I find the umpiring more and more mind-boggling each week and it's generally not the number of frees but where. I reckon we lost at least 3-4 goals in the first half thanks to key shocker decisions that kept Richmond in the game (when it mattered) and the umps cost the Tiges 2-3 at the end when it really didn't matter.

When you take into account our still iffy kicking and decision making during large parts of the game , our potential (if we improve those areas) is serious.

Great to see Pendles and Beamer all over the place (even though they look a bit slow at times) - that's Pendles' best game I have seen in quite some time.

A nice even performance across the ground. Adams, Sier and WHE to come back in , presumably for Aish , Greenwood and ??

Good luck holding our forward line when we have WHE, Billy, Coxy, Jordy, Stevo rotating through.

Hope the Tiges recover from their few injuries (and gastro) soon.
