i didn't suspend him, I didn't like the tweet. I just let you know what was happening and that he would be back this week..

a mistake i won't be making again i'm afraid

Hooray, hopefully that is the first true thing you have posted here

i look forward to your mental gymnastics later this year. Will be quite funny
don't worry I know what it's like - no-one treats us with respect around here when we bring mail, am I right, DSTM?

SOS fine, knows the politics and keeps it at arms length. Job of build not finished...
Weren’t they supposed to be the three musketeers in this rebuild? ....a whole of club commitment to rebuild which was going to be painful?...if the coach goes so should the president and list manager...if he does go hope Clarkson is tied up cos Scott, Lyon, longmire, Ratten, Roos or whosever else would be disappointing imho.

...

Unity? Sounds good in principle but when the heat gets turned up, it's not surprising to bring about an 'Every man for himself' scenario.
Not suggesting that's happening, but one would be naive to think it couldn't, regardless of what we may be preaching to the masses.

....

The masses have a habit of getting things more right than wrong - every time.

Anyway leaving aside red herrings - my view is that 'unity' is seen when things get difficult NOT when things are easy.

I believe that Bolton was seriously let down in both Norfs and GWS games - but that is part of his own learning process - a coach needs to know which players he can come to rely on which he can't - the coach killers. As I've stated on numerous occasions - he needs to recognise that poor performers and conditional players have to be cut - for the good of the team and himself - I'm sure SOS can help him there.

First half against Hawthorn - ticked my box on Bolton as a coach as far as what could be with this team...

So Mr B Scott for Bolton ..... ...yeah naaaah.

Now is his chance to show some willingness to adapt to a young midfield being out worked in 2/3 weeks. Need to see some reasonable modifications.

leaving aside some handy inclusions this week : Simpson/Cuningham/Plowman and focusing on midfield :

my take fwiw:

Murphy's injury has spared him one difficult decision (inj) ommitted - tick
Team's view on Setterfield's last couple is another - ommitted - tick
Kick up the back side to SPS is warranted - time to stand up as a pick#6 matey - perform fella
Something NQR with Charlie needs sorting - harden up Charlie - perform fella
Kennedy's 'suspension' or whatever coming to an end is another ( maybe) - has mongrel - tick
Sticking with Stocker - smart ( has mongrel ) - tick
LoB ommitted - time to get some development in 2's young fella - tick

Ed being played HFF - despite opposition match-ups remains a silly...
Sticking with Gibbons V Lang V Fasolo - hmmmm 50/50

All things considered I think Bolton has been too patient with too many for too long - this week's team is missing Jones and one of Lang/Fasolo as best we can put on field atm.

I agree with most of those takes. How we set up on Sunday will be telling.

A centre square of Cripps, Fisher and SPS just isnt it. Wouldn't mind seeing Kreuzer, Cripps, Kennedy and Dow in there straight away, send a signal to St Kilda that we are there to get dirty. No ****ing around.

I also took note of Cripps and Docherty's closed room 'brutal' feedback session with players - something which may have taken place sooner I would have thought - does it point to anything? maybe or maybe not...I like it anyway

It points to Bolts doing a fantastic job in creating and fostering a player driven culture from the ground up while the remnants of our malignant ancien regime are kept around by necessity as 'leaders'.

Heard Scott is very traditional - not willing to engage with everyone across the club, instead he has an ego and gets his assistants to speak to those "beneath him". Not very well liked in the way he goes about it.

I know this thread isnt for facts but blow me down..I never seen so much tripe in all me born days as just lately.
Page after page after page that makes me think this is some other teams board.

What do you think is tripe Blue and Blue ?
You have to be a little more specific, or are you waiting for our resident, 'Everything is going along just fabulously' poster to lay down some real facts.

It's a trying time for the CFC whether you care to believe it or not and the term 'Watch this space' is seemingly on high rotation.
