I think I am also.
Seasoned coach (wont have teething problems), has a successfull and competitve record with what was mostly an unspectacular list.
The players and supporters would have a level of confidence that he could walk into the job and hit the ground running ... as opposed to having doubt as to whether a first time coach will be able to get his head around the transition to a senior coaching role and whether he can make the grade and if so, how long it will take.

I've warmed a bit more to Lyon haha
After thinking about it. I know who I want, probably won't happen though.
So all I have on my wish list is Teague to win us a few games and see the kids play with excitement again.

I'd select Scott just to see the fear in David King's eyes everytime he is covering our game at ground level.

Yeah could be, however the more cynical view could be that Scott was made aware his time at North was up and both parties agreed to stage manage his exit to preserve his reputation. Judging by how many consider him a strong contender for the Carlton or other potential senior coaching roles, it has worked.

Worked with a Richmond supporter who knew Kreuze personally (not close, just lived nearby and bumped into him on occasion).
His mail has always been that Kreuze is as Carlton as they come, humble bloke with no desire for stupid money contracts, and would rather work to have success with Carlton and miss out than leave to chase success elsewhere.

Not keen on Teague as the caretaker.
I think we announced the length of caretaker period too early. My hope is that it won't take until the end of the year for the new coach to start.
Though I fear that the new coach will be happy with starting at the end of the year because they won't see a rapid improvement coming until we bring in additional players.
A couple of wallopings and the crowds will dissapate until the new coach starts, which may diminish our kitty to attact new players
