I think some ppl here underestimating the breeze...so unlucky.

We're not playing great but they are able to drive the ball in long and keep the ball in their forward half because of this dumb breeze, we haven't been able to get it out of our defensive half.

Makes a big difference.

I'd argue the injury didn't heal properly, and he cannot compensate for it with another related muscle group. Should have been rested for longer, with lighter training weeks once he resumed playing.

it's a rule - or it isn't - there is no 'feel'........

Cripps was trying to kick the ball to LOB & it slewed off his non-preferred therefore the call could not be deliberate, unless of course an umpire has no idea that sometimes players do kick the ball unintentionally off the side of their boot.
