Really glad to, seemingly, have Butler and Martin close to the line. Real, mature bodied talent in the front end of the ground. Nice start to the "trade period". Let's see the cost...now!

Who else at the Saints is taking big money? They wouldn't have been paying 100% of the salary cap for years so would have a lot banked and if Steven goes they would battle to get to the minimum salary cap.
Hill is the exact player they need and well worth the money IMO

It's not been reported, but I've been told from a good source it's us or Geelong. Wants Geelong, but Geelong haven't offered a contract yet.

Agreed. If not for close proximity to Lort Smith Hospital for animals, why would any player, with options, voluntarily choose to make Arden Street his/her footy home. Sydney a far better option.

I have a theory as to why Pruess went to Melbourne.
I've seen him walking his dogs in Pakenham a few times so he must live there.
Maybe he knew he would most likely play VFL at both Melbourne and North so he chose to play at Casey because it's closer to where he lives.
