In the wet, incredibly high stakes and pressure, not sure how anyone could realistically expect anything else.

For me, it was a great game because it had the most important ingredient, tension. I am completely neutral, but was literally on the edge of my couch for 3 hours.

Definitely not free flowing, but I thought it was a great game for other reasons.
 
How many clowns last night were saying "The AFL got what they wanted.. Pies Vs Tigers GF". And had this huge conspiracy that the Pies were in.

My response was... no the dream GF is GWS or Gold Coast Vs (Enter Powerhouse team here).

They will still get a big viewership because of Richmond, and GWS... gets the exposure that the AFL desires.

Umpiring today was questionable at times for both sides, but Collingwood played like rubbish and deserved to lose. So not going to start on conspiracies myself, but the AFL has truly got their dream grand final.

In saying that, Richmond should win easily. There is something about that week off before finals that stinks. Richmond and Collingwood both had the same pattern. Richmond took half a game to get going. Collingwood took 3 quarters. Really starting to think that week off should be scrapped... teams just coming out cold like this with no intensity, potentially due to playing one game in a month, and then having to play a team that has battled through 2 weeks of tough finals games ready to go in hard.

And we see manufactured teams being invented happening, the umpiring is abominable , (to every team even the fakes) the 50 m rule is an obscenity, and not needed , Free kicks rule the roost in the AFL and umpires run the show, its almost not worth following , because a blind man can see that one of these frauds has to have success, and Gil Mclachlan has no conception of football tribal and fanatic following, and we have two many clubs , and a nothing will play off in the best game of the year, which will be ruined by rules and umpires who miscall and misinterpret, like they did last year when a bloock was put on and the mark was paid. Bad luck Collinwood but if Brisbane had have beaten you, I would not worry at least they too, like Soth Melbourne have history , where as these GWS is just pure plastic.
Footy is definately losing something for me, didn't matter who played in the last day of September, even the Eagles or the Adelaide clubs THEY WERE REAL MADE FROM THEIR TRAD STATES , the Giants v Richmond means nothing if the giants win, If Richmond win , it is not a big day for real Australian Rules traditionalists.
My football is dead or dying right now, THAT GAME WAS TERRIBLE TO WATCH! AND I AM FURIOUS WITH COLLINGWOODS PISS WEAK ATTEMPT AND TO LET THOSE PLASTICS GET AHEAD!

Yeah, we boo Pindlebury at a presentation and your coach gets up and says “shame on anyone booing a champion...”. Then Collingwood play Geelong and all Collingwood supported boo Ablett and Buckley says nothing. Type about a full on hypocritical coach and club. 90 % of people watching wanted GWS to win. Why doesn’t Buckley come out and shame his supporters when you boo another clubs champion.

Buckley’s comment that day will also come back to humiliate home when he is too scared to call out his own supporters.

lol we were confident but certaintly wasnt speaking a week in advance and saying stuff like see you in the granny. got pies fans messagin me after the game last night , saying see you in the gf LOL, told em they have to be the giants first and they said **** off LOL
