But i'm not sure that's saying much if you are talking Phillips and Lobbe, one was delisted, the other is being offered only a further year.. Kreuzer probably wasn't at his best for many of the games he played either.

Teague said towards the end of the season that Casboult is a very good ruckman. I reckon he'd do a better job than Phillips. Phillips seems to come in and play one good game. Then he's rubbish after that.

Yes, that is a reference to Murphy's law, that when things have the potential to go wrong, they often do and perhaps fairly badly.

A worst nightmare scenario, although it is not something I hear or use in conversation much.

More commonly, if someone mentions Murphy/Murphy's, it means that someone's gall bladder needs to be taken out.
