They get an automatic improvement over what 2019 Daniher gave them.

Fantasia gave them a good half season but what he was able to dish out post-bye is easily replaceable.

I understand the * FC fans who are emotionally upset about this but at the end of the day they can easily come out ahead when compared to recent production. A chance for monster gains here for them frustratingly enough.

I thought the word on why we withdrew interest was because BEllis came back after Cogs re-signed and asked for more $. That's very likely a conversation driven or initiated by the Player Manager. So Pask/Ellis' manager throwing shade at us is bloody rich (pun intended).

5 and 9 for Daniher is too much.

Best trade comparison has to be Hogan to Freo which was Hogan and 65(ish) for 6 and a mid 20's pick.

Maybe the 9 and 41 for 14 and 24 from West Coast makes a lot of sense. (alternatively 9 and 41 for 15 and Jack Martin)

I'd say we should call their bluff, walk away, get Martin, Betts and maybe Butler or Lewy Taylor.

Good chance now for us to do the pick swaps with West Coast to make the Martin deal easier.

Wouldn’t send a good message to other players we are seeking to trade for in the future. I imagine we would have made assurances to Papley that we will make the trade happen no matter what, for him to to go public and nominate us.

Does anyone watch the AFL trade game? I just can’t get over how bad Tom Browne is, he said Suns want a first rounder for Martin because they will be able to get that next year as free agent compo. Only problem with that is Martin is uncontracted this year. I wish there was some accountability for the rubbish they say.
