I would hope at the start of 2021 we be playing finals and Gaff be around 29 by then.

By then I would have hoped Dow, SPS, Fisher, O Brien and Walsh will become consistent match winners and we don't have to rely on Cripps and Gaff to win each week.

Pick 25 + 42 = Martin + 58 + future 4th. Values Martin at pick 23

CG future 4th = Betts

This year pick 53, 58, 75, 84, 97, next year 1st, 2nd, 4th, etc. If a suitable target presents, we can use our 2020 1st as long as we get a future 3rd back

Other possible ins: Cutler pick 75

I think it's very possible we do a Brisbane and could be contending in 2 years.

And even if it takes until he's around 30, that's fine. He'll have a few years to win a premiership with us and can't discount the fact that he would have helped us become contenders in the first place.

No, as much as Corey Ellis wasn't worth pursuing.
I don't see a place for him in our team at all, unless our guys just don't come on....but they will.
Menadue would add little to what we have.

Unless Gaff came as an UFA as has been reported, I wouldn't sell the farm for him.
Short term gain...but there's others I'd sooner have them him at a premium.
