Reading a few posters comment that SOS/the club are annoyed at Phillips requesting a trade, as he had a deal in front of him. I would hope that our list manager/team aren't dumb enough to get pi**ed off, when a player, they won't play unless they have to and are only offering 1 year, requests a trade after being offered 2 years and regular game time.

Barass said that the Phillips trade might not go through, unless Phillips changes is mind then he will get there one way or another.

I don't want to believe some of the comments regarding SOS and Phillips and its pretty pathetic if they're a true reflection

It feels a little petty and rightly or wrongly it makes me think SOS is a bit old school and stubborn, not in a good way.
Players situations change and he obviously hadn't re-signed, no brainer for him to leave and the club should be supportive, to an extent.

Pure speculation, but he doesn't seem to have the closest relationships with the rest of the team based on my limited viewing of his instagram. He got married sometime in the last week and from what I could tell, none of the team were in attendance. Could be entirely reading too much into it though

Maybe I am totally right off track ... but IMHO I believe if we had of kept Eddie and not let him go to the Crows, Yarran and Garlett wouldn't have gone off the rails and left the club. And that is one of reasons why I am happy that Eddie is coming back as I believe he can and will make a real off field difference for the indigenous players we have now and in the future.
